Activ8 is headquartered in sunny Orlando, Florida, where cannabis hemp may be grown in consecutive seasons. However, for Activ8, the typical array of topicals, tinctures, and edibles was not the end goal—it has one basic product with a noble goal: THC Syrup.
Delta 8 THC Lean is a legal and widely available substitute for prescription cough syrup. It is less addicting, healthier, and substantially less expensive. Activ8 now offers two varieties of THC syrup: Grape and Cherry. The syrup can be purchased in a bottle or in a six-pack.
Activ8 offered me all flavors of their D8 THC syrups, as well as twice as many styrofoam cups as I anticipated I’d need for this evaluation. I grew up in the South and was curious to see how the cannabis industry’s response to the cough syrup crisis would taste and feel.
Review of Activ8 Grape Delta 8 THC Syrup
A bottle of Activ8 Grape Delta 8 THC Lean contains 50mg of D8, divided into two servings. The current syrup batches’ test results are published online. Here are the Grape THC Syrup test results.
First Thoughts on Delta 8 THC Syrup in Grape
With one hand, I filled the styrofoam cups with ice and poured in some lemon-lime flavored sparkling water, and with the other, I poured in half a bottle of grape-flavored THC syrup. This purple beverage was about to get a lemony twist.
The sparkling water was not sweetened, but the syrup was. This was the ideal amount of sweetness and my favorite type of grape flavoring for my senses to keep sipping.
Once you’ve got the active ingredient, Delta 8 THC, in there, the rest is just a matter of blending it to taste. Yes, if you really, really wanted to, you could add Jolly Ranchers or any other candy to sweeten the pot. Personally, I didn’t need to add anything extra because Activ8 CBD Syrup grape taste is a typical grape flavor and purple hue.
For several hours, I nursed my cup. It wasn’t until a few hours in that I began to feel it. I was able to keep sipping at the same rate at that point, and I was properly slapped right up until I went to bed.
The Decision
A classic, more manageable edible high enjoyed in an unconventional way. I’m all for it.

THC Syrup Activ8 Cherry Delta 8 Review
The Cherry Activ8 THC Syrup in this batch is technically a tad stronger—here are the test findings.
First Thoughts on the Delta 8 THC Syrup in Cherry
I leaned in on the syrup all the way for a whole 50mg of D8 THC in this cup of THC lean. To me, 25mg of D8 isn’t as potent as 25mg of D9, so I wanted to raise the stakes a little. This cup of syrup turned a little pink after being combined with sparkling water.
Delta 8 THC Syrup will not get you high, and the cherry flavour is extremely delicious.
I did feel a lot more couch-locked and a touch slower after a few hours with 50mg running through my veins than when I was on the grape-flavored one. But, in reality, it was the same high—just stronger. I’ve always liked the edible/drinkable high, and while rapid pleasure is nice, reaching the proper level without smoking and being able to coast on that plateau is a fantastic feeling.
Don’t be afraid to sip lightly, and remember that, as Activ8 points out on its website, this drink is technically meant to be shared. Another interesting fact: the double styrofoam cup prevents your hand’s heat from reaching the inside cup, which would hasten the melting of the ice.
The Decision
These were my first double styrofoam sizzurp cups. Whatever you call it—Texas Tea, Sizzurp, Purple Drank, Lean—I’ve never been interested in it. I’ve spent some time in the culture, and suffice it to say that I’ve witnessed the devastation firsthand. Cough syrup, like it or not, is a part of the Opiate Crisis, and THC syrup has the best chance of removing this on-ramp to opioid addiction.
Again, the harm that prescription cough syrup misuse can do to your organs and your bank account cannot be understated.

Activ8 THC Syrup is a) legal and b) a fraction of the price. Whether you’re just sippin’ in the studio or looking to join the growing number of people who have swapped life-threatening opiate usage for non-life-threatening cannabis use, now is the moment to inform your sizzurp sippin’ social circle about this better-in-every way option. I hope that rap music begins to elevate Best Delta 8 Syrup over codeine and promethazine syrup.
